The greatest invention in my life : Smart Card
These days, almost everyone who does not own a car would have a smart card. The most widely used smart
card is called T-money, stands for Transportation money. The card only costs about 3000 won, and we can use
it forever once we keep the money charged. It is easy to charge the card, since we can see the charging
machine without difficulty. It saves money by getting a transfer discount. We can take bus or subway up to five
times maximum without paying fair. It is very useful when a bus or subway does not offer a direct route to the
destination. Recently, we can use the T-money just like a check card. Many convenient stores, bookstores,
vending machine and even MacDonald’s accept T-money as cash. When more companies cooperate with T-
money, we might be able to use it like real cash. Also, it provides transportation service in other cities besides
Seoul. It means that we can use the card almost everywhere in Korea. Without the smart card, it would be
harder for us to get the ticket every time we get on a public transportation.
Like this, smart card can make our life much easier, faster and cheaper.

ReplyDeleteI have to charge about 50,000won every month for subway fee. then, I can using 60 times in a month for 800won every station in seoul, but I have to use 60 times in a month. if not you have to repay. It's little uncomfortable, but I can use subway cheaper price than normal smart card. to me, Hongdae to home, the fee is 1,400won. I can save 600 won every day. it seems small, 600X30days is big money to me.
